Stratton Brook Hut
The Stratton Brook Hut is the fourth hut of the Maine Huts & Trails outdoor recreation system located in the western mountains of Maine. This facility provides accommodation for four seasons outdoor enthusiasts. I worked in the early development of the design producing promotional images for the project, and later worked on the construction drawings for Garrison Consulting Inc.
Casco Bay YMCA
Architect of Record, Phase 1- Orcutt Associates- Frank Oliva project designer. 35.000 sf multi-use facility for YMCA programs. Architect of Record, Phase 2 – Frank Oliva. Phase 2 connects the existing building to the Airnasium via a new lobby and aerobics and exercise rooms. Phase 2 also included interior upgrades to existing spaces. Phase 3 enclosure of the Airnasium is planned.
Samoset Clubhouse
Architect of Record- Orcutt Associates- Frank Oliva project designer. This new facility serves as the recreation and service center for the championship golf course. This 10,000 sf building accomodates the pro shop, locker rooms, the lobby, golf bag and cart storage areas, and a restaurant and back porch with commanding views of the fairways.
Lima YMCA
Architect of Record- Orcutt Associates- Frank Oliva project designer. This 100,000 sf facility is the shared home of the Lima YMCA and the Lima Hospital Physical Rehabilitation program. This building is located on Main Street in Lima, and is a major component of the strategic rehabilitation of the downtown area.
Bartlett Circle Elderly Housing
Project Architect for renovations and additions to this 28 unit elderly housing complex. Improvements for the project include addition of new entry porches for the living units; replacement of pedestrian path system and site lighting; renovations of and additions to the central community building which include handicap accessibility, energy improvements and the creation of an emergency shelter. Art of Awareness Offices
Project Architect for the new home of Art of Awareness, an organization providing private and group therapy services including counseling, and art and yoga therapies. The new office suite is 4,300 s.f and includes: lobby and secure waiting areas, kitchen and dining room, eight private therapy offices,one group therapy room, and an art studio and yoga studio.
Bath YMCA
Architect of Record, Orcutt Associates- Frank Oliva project architect. This 50.000 sf multi-use facility was designed to replace one of the oldest YMCA's in the nation. The building and site were carefully positioned in a wooded area on the edge of the village; reflecting both the natural landscape and the rich history of ship-building.
